Who we are

HDML is an electronics store based in Alexandria, Egypt, selling to customers across the country. HDML decides how the data described on this page is used and is the one to contact about it: email us at contact@hdmlstore.com, or visit us at 8 Mostafa El-Maghraby, Sidi Gabir, Sidi Gaber, Alexandria Governorate 5434005.

What we collect

• Order details: your name, mobile number, email (optional when you order as a guest), delivery address, what you ordered and your order history.
• Account details, if you create an account: your email and password.
• Messages you send to support and anything you attach to them.
• Reviews and photos you choose to post.
• The contact details you give us when you ask to be told that a product is available, and the email you give us for a price alert.
• Payment proof you choose to upload after a transfer. It is stored privately and reviewed by HDML staff only.
• Your marketing choice: whether you opted in to offer emails.
• With your consent in the cookie banner: visit and purchase measurements and, only if the owner has switched them on, Meta and TikTok pixel events.
• HDML never collects card numbers. There is no card payment on this site: you pay cash, by a transfer you make from your own bank or wallet app, or when you collect.

Why we use it

• To confirm, prepare, deliver and track your order, and to call or email you about it.
• To handle returns, warranty claims and refunds.
• To run your account, wishlist, HDML credit and affiliate status, if you have them.
• To answer your messages.
• To send offers, only if you opted in. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe link; emails about your orders continue because you need them.
• To see which pages and products work, only with your analytics consent.

Cookies

Essential cookies run the store: your cart, your language, your theme and your sign-in session. The store does not work without them, so they are always on.

Analytics and marketing cookies are set only after you accept them in the cookie banner. Your choice is saved in a cookie. To change it at any time, open “Cookie preferences” in the footer of every page: you can allow or withdraw analytics and marketing separately, and changing them never clears your cart or signs you out.

Who processes it for us

The companies below handle data for us, on our instructions and only for the purposes above. We do not sell your data.

• Supabase: our database, sign-in and file storage (payment proofs, review photos).
• Cloudflare: hosts the site and provides Turnstile, which keeps bots off our forms.
• Brevo: sends our order emails and, if you opted in, our marketing emails.
• Meta and TikTok: only if the owner has turned their pixels on and you accepted marketing in the cookie banner. The browser identifiers attached to those events (such as IP address, browser type and click IDs) are kept for 90 days.
• Couriers: the name, phone number and address needed to deliver your parcel.

How long we keep it

• Order records: for as long as we need them to honour returns and warranty and to keep proper business records.
• Account data: until you delete your account or ask us to.
• Availability-request and price-alert contacts: until we have answered, or you ask us to drop them.
• Browser identifiers on marketing events: 90 days, as above.

Your choices and rights

You can, at any time:

• Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct it.
• Ask us to delete it. We delete everything we do not need to keep for orders you already placed, refunds or warranty.
• Withdraw marketing consent with the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• Withdraw analytics or marketing consent at any time from “Cookie preferences” in the footer.

Security

Sign-in and passwords are handled by Supabase Auth; passwords are stored hashed and are never readable by us. Staff see customer data only as far as their role needs. Payment proofs are kept in private storage that only HDML staff can open.

HDML never asks for your password or a full card number by email, phone or chat. If someone does in our name, do not answer, and tell us.

Changes to this page

When we change this page we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data you already gave us, we tell you on the site or by email before it applies.
